Edo Sushi - Japanese Takeaway in Sheffield

Out to lunch?
(or an evening treat)

I'm in a state of euphoric wonder that the likes off Pizza Nut, Burglar King and MacDumburger attract so much trade - when quite literally just a few seconds away lay a true delight;

Edo Sushi - a tiny (really) little takeaway Sushi bar in the very heart of Sheffield.

Run by a couple of very hard working friends who grew up in Sheffield - went off to Tokyo to learn the art of Sushi - and together with a very special ingredient - a true passion for food - returned to Sheffield to share that passion by offering some of the best Sushi you'll find in any city centre - possibly bar Tokyo.

A Sushi lunchbox, with Miso soup or Green tea costs a mere £4.50 - there are 4 different types and they change the content regularly so you'll never get bored.

I spent a very invigorating half hour or so chatting to one of the guys who run it - we talked - about food!

I very rarely get evangelistic about takeaways - but this really is a must - I don't know if I could ever face lunch in Sheffield, or any other takeaway again, now Edo Sushi has entered my life.

And they'll deliver...
